The Cosmofil Film Club

Following the cancellation of the January showing due to weather conditions, "La Cage aux Folles" in French with English subtitles will be show this Sunday, 3rd February, at the Alfriston War Memorial Hall at 4pm. Based on a very successful play written by Jean Poiret in 1973, the film "La Cage aux Folles" is one the best comedies ever. Albin's (Michel Serrault) volatile yet loving relationship with his long time companion Renato (Ugo Tognazzi) is put to the test when they must pose as a "normal" family to please the puritanical future in-laws of Renato's son.
