PRESS RELEASE FROM SEAFORD TWINNING ASSOCIATION
Seaford's friendly twinning group are holding another of their social events to which non-Members are invited! November's event is a Quiz, with Fish and Chips!
On Saturday 12 November this quiz night will be held at 7.30 at 37 Church Street, in the Council Chamber. Doors open at 7.15. There is a charge of £1 per head, and a small prize is offered. Teams can be formed on the night so individuals are welcome to come along.
To order fish and chips (at cost) please phone Garry on 01424 201610 at least 5 days in advance. Quizzers can bring their own drinks.
As ever with Seaford Twinning Association there will also be a raffle, and donations of prizes are welcome.
Future events include a Christmas Meet when everyone is asked to bring a plate of festive food as well as their drinks. That is on Saturday 10 December, also 7.15 for 7.30 at Seaford Town Council Chamber 37 Church Street. STA Member and local historian Kevin Gordon will give a talk on the History of the Houses of Parliament, entrance is £1, and there will be a raffle.
On Saturday 21 January there will be a Burns Night Dinner, complete with Haggis and all the trimmings! Details of this and the December event can also be had from Garry on 01424 201610.
